ER ”Emergency Room” 1994 season 1- the introduction of John Carter. The last words of Carter don’t show here on youtube, they do on my computer which is very weird but he says: ”the worst is over”

ok well i can see anthony edwards….he was like one of the best characters ever……. and clooney was good too. after they were both gone the only reason i watched it was because of carter….. after he left the show just wasnt the same

For me it realy is the original cast who did it. They started ”driving” the long ”ER train” and after that we where introduced to a lot of other great characters!! And we can’t forget the nurses and deskclerks, aspecially the ones that where in a long time! And ofcourse the writers……cast….;-)

a few of the nurses, and jerry were on all seasons but, i think anthony edwards and later on clooney had the star power

If you think about Carter was the one that really made ER what it was. He was on it for the longest and pretty much the main character

We sure do! And we’ll never forget the old school cast!!

I think that ER is pretty good in showing all the sides of the work on the ER. Ofcourse it’s made so cool and nice, but they did cover the sad sides as well……. in my opinion ER showed a lot of sides of the work, ofcourse in a nice way….

Love ER, sad it’s over. So easy to relate to Carter on his first day. I’m in medical school and they teach you all this lofty science, but never really cover the practical stuff…I love the scene of stitching the ladies hand. “When do I get the stitches out? Um…3 weeks. My son’s foot was 10 days! Well 3 weeks, 10 days, anywhere in between there.” Love that.

Wow, that sound realy cool! So Rachel wants to be a doctor too?? Cool that Carter tells her.

I love how the show has now come full circle. Int the last episode, Dr. Carter explains to Mark Green’s daughter how to start an IV with the exact same words that Benton said to him. The student becomes the teacher… LOVE this show!!

love how Farnk has actually been there since the beginning.
