his 2nd hardest mission, the arctic one in Nunavut was the toughest, he had no business even attempting it. they had to give him all his seal blubber to eat, they had to give him a rifle for polar bears and sent him there in the summer and he still failed. but noone except the inuit can survive there, so no dissing les

i see what your saying, and i agree for the most part. survivorman is more like a documentary, and man vs wild is more like a non-fictional drama. Bear has made many mistakes, there is an entire wiki on the many flaws of man vs wild.
June 19th, 2009 at 14:30
Well not excatly , there are some organized situations presented to grylls and there are some cinematic elements also, but there are many many things that cannot be “faked” that Bear does in his show, Les is more as i see methodical in his representation, Bear is more cinematic

wiping out everything related to your fucking lies dude

This guy is interesting, far less dramatic and less Hollywood - like than Bear. The best of them all though in my opinion is Ray Mears who’s a great teacher with no drama and no fuss.

id go n scrape up some frost into somethin ya know…but i love this show..les strouds the man
July 12th, 2009 at 08:40
This has to be one of les strouds best episodes

Les’s show is reality. This is exactly what happens in Southern Utah. I’m a nature photographer in here and I’ve been here for about 5 years now. There are canyons like this one all over the place with absolutely no water, yet I’ve been in canyons that I know of during rainstorms where i have video’s of flash floods about 6 feet high, bringing down tree’s with them. les is doing a great job, all you want to do in southern utah is keep moving, otherwise you are just going to die in one spot.
