lol ya dump them and get a ham radio and get your license and really stay in contact but its ok for around town or up the street but even the walkie talkies are better then cell phones because everyone just runs to thier cell phones when something happens

You’re right, which is why DCERN has joined with a nationwide ham radio group (I introduced them to each other).

That is great for a small area but I do not think it will work in DFW 40 miles +. Dump the cell, get a Ham rado
